Job summary

The Building Company in Ermelo is seeking a Stock Controller to coordinate incoming stock, ensure accurate receiving and GRN processes, and maintain optimal stock levels for the business. This permanent role focuses on stock integrity and efficient replenishment across distributive channels.

Ideal candidates will have Grade 12, at least 3 years of stock control experience, and relevant NQF 5 certificates. If lacking certificates, completion of multiple related skills programs is acceptable.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 with 3 years stock control experience.
• Certificate in Retailing (NQF 5) preferred.
• Certificate in Retail Operations Management (NQF 5) preferred.
• If no certificate, at least 3 of the listed skills programmes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate incoming stock: receiving, GRNing and merchandising.
• Maintain optimum stock levels and range.
• Check reports and stock data to identify variances.
• Manage supplier returns and negative stock clearance.
• Maintain bin locations and cycle counting accuracy.
• Conduct stock takes and ensure stock is bin-d tagged correctly.
• Generate variance data for weekly/monthly reviews.
• Ensure stock is properly bin-allocated and available for sale.
