Job summary

The Building Company in Brits is seeking a dedicated Stock Controller to join our BUCO department on a permanent basis.

You will dispatch goods, maintain stock, assist customers, rotate stock, and support loss control while upholding our values and delivering excellent service in a busy retail environment.

Applicants should have Grade 12 and at least 3 years' retail experience, with attention to detail and strong teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch goods and stock.
• Maintain stock levels and stock accuracy.
• Provide customer service.
• Rotate stock to ensure freshness and availability.
• Assist in loss control and shrink reduction.
• Price stock according to pricing policy.
• Label products accurately.
• Conduct regular stock takes.
• Receive stock deliveries and check against orders.
• Maintain stock control and storage conditions.
• Maintain tidy work areas.
• Uphold and promote The Building Company values and culture.
