Job summary

Kabstrading Co. in Pietermaritzburg seeks a reliable Warehouse Associate to support daily stock handling, packing and order fulfillment. You will help maintain orderly workspaces and accurate records, ensuring smooth movement of goods through receiving, storage and delivery.

The role includes inventory checks, loading/unloading shipments, labeling, and securing items for transport, with a strong emphasis on safety and loss prevention. Training provided and onsite work expected.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring work areas are kept clean, neat and well-organized.
• Packing incoming stock away, taking inventory and reporting shortages.
• Keeping records of incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Picking orders as requested by management.
• Ensuring correct information is attached and moving completed orders to delivery area.
• Assist with appropriated wrapping, and securing with stretch wrap, shrink wrap and strapping.
• Loading and unloading trucks.
• Complying with OSHA and other safety regulations.
• Assisting in maintaining security of store.
