Qualifications

• Relevant accounting/finance qualification.
• Experience in inventory accounting and stock control.
• Strong Excel skills for reconciliations and reporting.
• Good understanding of inventory valuation and costing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory data in Pastel Evolution.
• Manage inventory master, products, and warehouse locations.
• Implement controls for stock quantities, costing and valuation.
• Replenish stock levels at competitive prices.
• Costing for imported and local products.
• Verify BOMs, costs, and finished-product costing.
• Analyze cost movements and discrepancies.
• Maintain pricing matrix and inventory discounts in Pastel Evolution.
• Analyze gross profit margins and cost concerns.
• Negotiate supplier discounts and savings.
• Oversee stock takes across stores/warehouses.
• Capture stock counts and investigate variances.
• Reconcile stock-on-hand to GL accounts.
• Report stock shortages and wastage.
• Recommend measures to improve stock accuracy.
• Prepare inventory and variance reports.
• Identify slow-moving or obsolete stock.
• Support month-end inventory reporting.
