Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Stock Controller for our Port Elizabeth operations to safeguard accurate stock levels and support efficient supply chain flow.

You will conduct regular counts, audits, and liaise with purchasing and sales to prevent stockouts and overstock. The role requires proficiency with inventory software and Excel, with opportunity for growth in logistics within the Eastern Cape.

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory management, stock control, or warehouse operations.
• Proficiency in using inventory management software and MS Excel for data tracking.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records using the company's inventory management system.
• Conduct regular stock counts and cycle audits to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Receive, inspect, and record incoming stock, ensuring it matches purchase orders.
• Organize and manage warehouse or stockroom space for efficient storage and retrieval.
• Monitor stock levels and generate reports on inventory turnover, aging stock, and potential shortages.
• Collaborate with purchasing and sales teams to ensure adequate stock availability and manage stock replenishment.
