Placements24 is seeking a diligent Inventory Clerk for a Sandton facility. The role focuses on maintaining stock integrity, recording movements, and supporting the inventory team to ensure reliable data.

The ideal candidate will be precise, organized, and capable of handling physical stock duties while using MS Excel and WMS for accurate records.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
• Experience in an Inventory Clerk or similar stock management role is preferred.
• Basic understanding of inventory control principles and warehouse operations.
• Proficiency in using inventory tracking software or MS Excel for record-keeping.
• Ability to perform physical duties related to stock handling.

Responsibilities

• Accurately record the receipt, movement, and dispatch of inventory items.
• Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory checks to verify stock accuracy.
• Identify and investigate inventory discrepancies, reporting findings to the supervisor.
• Maintain organized and tidy storage areas to facilitate efficient stock management.
• Update inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS) promptly and accurately.
• Assist with stocktaking and provide support for inventory-related queries.
