Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Interstate Truck Driver for a Richards Bay–based transport company. The role involves extensive travel across provinces, transporting goods safely and efficiently, while maintaining the assigned vehicle and reporting to dispatch.

The ideal candidate will have long-distance driving experience, be self-motivated, and uphold safety standards. Strong navigation skills and basic troubleshooting are valued.

Qualifications

• Valid Code 14 driver's license with a Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
• Minimum of 5 years of verifiable interstate truck driving experience.
• Ability to handle long driving hours and maintain focus.
• Solid understanding of basic vehicle mechanics and troubleshooting.
• Excellent navigational skills and familiarity with national road networks.

Responsibilities

• Operate semi-trailer trucks and other heavy-duty vehicles for interstate transport.
