About the Role

Our client is looking for a seasoned and responsible Long-Distance Truck Driver to join their expanding freight division based in Rustenburg . You will be responsible for transporting goods across various provinces, ensuring safe and timely delivery to designated destinations. This role requires extensive knowledge of road networks, excellent driving stamina, and a commitment to adhering to strict safety protocols and company policies. The position is vital for maintaining our client's service reliability and reach across South Africa, specifically supporting their operations in the North West province.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate heavy-duty trucks for long-distance freight transportation.


• Safely load and unload cargo, ensuring it is properly secured for transit.


• Adhere to all driving hour regulations and rest period requirements.


• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before and after each trip.


• Maintain accurate logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery details.


• Provide excellent customer service during pickups and drop-offs.

Requirements

• Valid Professional Driver's Permit (PDP) and Code 14 driver's license .


• Minimum of 5 years of experience in long-distance truck driving.


• Demonstrated knowledge of major South African routes and road networks.


• Excellent vehicle handling and maintenance skills.


• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively on the road.


• Clean driving record and a strong commitment to safety.
