You will operate modern tractor-trailers, manage long hours, and maintain meticulous records. Expected competencies include strong route planning, GPS/ELD proficiency, and the ability to pass drug and alcohol screening.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of professional interstate trucking experience.
• Valid Code 14 (EC) driver''s license with PrDP for goods.
• Excellent driving record with no major violations.
• Proficient in GPS/ELD and onboard tech.
• Ability to pass drug and alcohol screening and background checks.
• Physical stamina for long-haul driving.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailers for long-distance interstate hauls, ensuring timely delivery.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and trailers.
• Adhere to traffic laws, Hours of Service, and safety policies.
• Maintain accurate electronic logs of driving hours, mileage, and delivery details.
• Safely load and unload cargo as required and secure goods.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route status and issues.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailers for long-distance, interstate hauls, ensuring the secure and timely delivery of goods.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and trailers, identifying and reporting any maintenance needs.
• Adhere strictly to all traffic laws , Hours of Service regulations, and company safety policies.
• Maintain accurate electronic logs of driving hours, mileage, and delivery details.
• Safely load and unload cargo as required, ensuring proper securing of goods.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route status, delays, and any operational issues.
