Main purpose of position

To ensure that an accurate and aesthetically pleasing running order schedule is created for broadcast

Key Accountabilities

• The creation of a presentation template with programme layouts, channel branding and promotional spots according to Sport requirements
• Produce an accurate, transmission-ready detailed 24-hour running-order schedule for playout by required daily deadline for channels.
• Ensuring that all changes are implemented timeously
• Importing commercial breaks, scheduling of promos and fillers at suitable times to the target audience of the channel
• Reconcile transmission schedules after broadcast
• Provide excellent client service to all relevant Stakeholders
• Generate reports and communicate to all relevant Stakeholders
• Provide necessary support to Line Management
• Adherence and compliance with the unit SOP’s
• Report on the operational risk and regulatory compliance matters
• Report on risks to protect organisational integrity, create value and prevent financial loss
• Adherent to Sport t policies and procedures
• Report on potential risk in Occupational Health and Safety Act
• Assisting on delivery of special projects
