Mountain Ridge Winery in the Breedekloof area is offering a harvest intern role for the 2027 season. The position involves practical winemaking tasks and hands-on experience in a vibrant winery setting.

Accommodation may be provided, and the period runs January to April 2027, with the possibility of extension. Applicants should be prepared to work long hours including weekends and have a valid driver’s license for transporting personnel to rural locations.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work long hours and weekends.
• Valid driver’s license for transporting people to/from rural areas.
• Reliable and able to work well in a team environment.
• Ability to pick up 20kg repeatedly.

Responsabilités

• Grape sampling (if needed).
• Additions to must and must not orders.
• Lab work (General analysis).
• Fermentation monitoring.
• Cooling (Monitoring and management).
• Pump overs.
• Transportation.
• General cleaning.
• Sampling.
• Generator (monitor and managing if needed).

Connaissances
