Rhodes University in Makhanda invites applications for an Internal Project Coordinator on a 2-year contract (Grade 13) to support the Department of Human Kinetics and Ergonomics. You will coordinate research activities, supervise data collection, assist with ethics submissions and reporting, and manage field staff and drivers.
A B Degree (NQF 7) with about three years of relevant experience is required, along with strong administrative and report-writing skills.

To provide research support to the Principal Investigator at the Department of Human Kinetics and Ergonomics at Rhodes University research team working on this project. The Project Coordinator will help to coordinate the research study at Rhodes University by ensuring that study procedures are followed and will supervise the preparation of data collection procedures, participant recruitment, data collection and monitoring, staffing, field monitoring, scheduling , grant reporting and activities related to the project. The Project Coordinator will assist with ethics applications, as well as grant and ethics reports. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for supervising and managing drivers, community liaison, and fieldworkers
B Degree (NQF level 7) plus approximately 3 years relevant experience where such experience includes:
