Job summary

Catch in Gauteng, South Africa is looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to design and implement our Microsoft stack-based products and services. You will influence technologies, patterns, and development across our solutions.

The role requires a mature, autonomous engineer with pride in craft, strong problem solving, and a drive to learn, teach, and innovate within a fast-paced PropTech/FinTech context.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software development experience, with 2+ years on the Microsoft stack.
• At least 3 years in the role of Senior Software Engineer.
• Degree in Computer Science or related field; Microsoft Stack Developer certification.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
• Translating business requirements and objectives into technical applications and solutions.
• Develop solutions to improve performance, security and scalability of systems.
• Maintenance of existing systems, code and processes.
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate these issues.

Ideal Qualifications
