Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join its IT team in Midrand. You will design and build scalable backend services, APIs, and cloud-enabled solutions, working with Java, Python, or C# and modern frameworks.

You will mentor juniors, participate in architectural decisions, and help shape the technology roadmap while delivering high-quality, well-tested code in a hybrid work environment.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of database systems (SQL and NoSQL), data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
