Job summary

Table View Primary School invites an Intermediate Phase Teacher (Grade 4–6) to join our dynamic team in Table View, Cape Town. The role focuses on delivering CAPS-aligned English or Afrikaans and Mathematics while contributing to school life.

The candidate should have an appropriate teaching qualification, SACE registration, police clearance, and a clear ID copy. A4-year qualification and computer literacy are essential. Starting 11 January 2027.

INTERMEDIATE PHASE TEACHER (GRADE 4 – 6 CLASS TEACHER)

LOCATION: Table View, Cape Town
START DATE: 11 January 2027

Table View Primary School seeks a passionate and committed Intermediate Phase Primary School teacher to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will teach Intermediate Phase Subjects, including English or Afrikaans and Mathematics and contribute positively to the academic and co-curricular life of the school.

Sport offering would be advantageous.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Teach Intermediate Phase Subjects, including English or Afrikaans and Mathematics.
• Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons aligned with the CAPS Curriculum.
• Set, assess and moderate tasks and examinations.
• Monitor learner progress and provide academic support where necessary.
• Maintain effective classroom management and positive learner relationships.
• Contribute actively to the broader academic and co-curricular life of the school.
• Appropriate Qualification (minimum 4 years).
• SACE Registration.
• Police Clearance and Copy of ID.
• CV indicating: computer literacy, subjects offered, teaching experience, sports offering.
