Integrated Sales Consultant
PURPOSE
To grow business, service customers and grow brand
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES
- Matric or Grade 12
- National Diploma/Degree/Certificate in Marketing or any other relevant tertiary qualification
- Minimum 5 years sales experience preferable from the hygiene, cleaning, pest control, industry.
- Positive attitude, high energy, and motivational levels.
- Great team player
- Good personal and interpersonal skills
- Good communication skills and honest (Integrity)
- Presentable always
- Must be provisioned in Excel, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND FUNCTIONS
- Sell and achieve monthly sales targets (R18 500 per month) ** Cleaning gets divided by 6 for figure
- Source (cold call, prospecting), negotiate and sign new business (In line with the branch strategy)
- Sell additional products to existing clients (upsell or cross sell)
- Re-sign existing clients (Responsible to keep track of contracts coming to an end)
- Offer clients a complete Integrated solution. (Cleaning, Hygiene, Pest Control, Toilet Hire, Septic)
- Build pipeline. (Expectation is 6 million or more)
- Build relations with customers
- Plan and set up appointments with customers – Fridays (Weekly planning to be submitted to Sales Manager & Branch Manager)
- Visit 8 customers per day in line with call cycle (6 new and 2 existing)
- Keep all appointments (Set appointments to be made)
- Deal with customers professionally always
- Complete weekly call sheets reports
- Update CRM data build on a daily basis
- Complete pipeline update weekly
- Complete contract agreement in detail and accurately
- Complete survey sheet accurately
- Complete installation document (Hand offer to operations document)
- Sign quality customers who are able to pay for services rendered (Credit Vetting must be done)
- Acquire ongoing product knowledge to keep a step ahead. (Innovation must be presented to clients)
- Handle and serve cancellations effectively
- Always follow up and give feedback to customers
- Provide excellent after sales service (Complaints to be resolved within 48 hours)
- Do regular quality top 20 client visits to maintain agreed service levels and retain business
- Offer value added services e.g. Specialised cleaning and deep cleaning. Target R120 000 per branch per year.
- Keep track of prospective client’s contract end dates with other suppliers to approach them again at the right time.

KEY PERFORMANCE MEASURABLES
- Acheive monthly sales targets (R18 500 per month) ** Take note cleaning value divided by 6 for figure
- Build pipeline (Expectation is 6 million or more)
- Complete weekly call sheets – 6 new clients plus 2 existing – 8 calls per day
- Call cycle and client plotting updated at all times.
- Prospect & BAU clients must be 400 clients at all time
- Strat document must be in place and in line with branch strategy and always updated
- Must be able to put together a presentation on PowerPoint
- Must be able to present confidently at all levels to the clients
- Must be able to work on Excel (Costings, Pie Charts, Percentages, Sums etc.)
- Must put together costings and understand costings
- Needs to be able to create call cycles
- Must be able to do in-depth competitor analysis
