Job summary

Be Different Recruitment seeks a qualified professional with a BCom and 4–6 years’ general business and insurance experience, including Short Term Insurance and UMA exposure. FAIS compliance is preferable. The role centers on growing and servicing a client portfolio while leveraging strong analytical and client-facing skills.

You will engage with brokers and clients, interpret financial data, and support renewals and cross-selling initiatives, ensuring timely, accurate reporting and delivery.

Qualifications

• BCom degree with Microsoft Office proficiency.
• 4–6 years in general business and insurance.
• Short Term Insurance and UMA experience required.
• FAIS compliance preferred.
• Analytical thinker with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and customer service orientation.
• Team player with relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop an existing portfolio of clients through prospecting and broker relationships.
• Interpret financial statements and actuarial data to support budgets.
• Meet with clients and present statistical information.
• Authorize claim payments promptly and handle queries.
• Renewals, cross-selling, and product expansions with clients.
• Develop new prospects and products and maintain client relationships.
• Manage documentation, budgets, and deadlines.
