Dotsure Insurance is hiring an Insurance Accountant in George, Western Cape to strengthen financial reporting and controls. The role involves delivering accurate financial information, ensuring regulatory compliance and supporting audits.

You’ll work with the Financial Manager and cross-functional teams to produce meaningful insights, month-end processes, VAT, tax calculations, and IFRS-compliant statements.

Qualifications

• Experience with IFRS financial reporting and statutory compliance.
• Strong accuracy, structure and attention to detail in financial data.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and a Financial Manager.

About The Role

You'll play an important role in ensuring the financial integrity of our insurance businesses by delivering accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong financial controls and supporting statutory and regulatory compliance.

Working closely with the Financial Manager and a variety of internal stakeholders, you'll help produce meaningful financial information that supports both operational excellence and strategic decision-making.

Some Of What You'll Be Doing Includes

• Preparing month-end journals, reconciliations and financial reports


• Producing accurate management accounts and financial reporting


• Supporting the preparation of IFRS-compliant annual financial statements


• Assisting with audits and regulatory reporting
