Job summary

Marvel Placement Consultants is seeking qualified Electricians or Plumbers for prepaid metering installations across Gauteng with strong problem-solving and communication skills. This role requires travelling to client sites, performing electrical/plumbing work, and ensuring safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, test, and repair prepaid metering systems at client sites.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure installations meet quality and safety standards.
• Carry out related plumbing and electrical installations as required.
• Commission metering systems and verify correct operation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, plumbing, and metering issues on-site.
• Perform routine maintenance and fault-finding on metering equipment.
• Provide clients with accurate product information and basic technical support.
• Maintain professional client relationships on-site.
• Ensure high levels of customer service and satisfaction at all times.
• Communicate installations, maintenance, and site issues to clients.
• Complete all relevant duties associated with the installation function.
• Adhere to company standards, policies, procedures, and quality requirements.
• Ensure all work is performed safely and in accordance with applicable regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and report progress or site-related issues to the relevant manager.
• Travel to various client sites as required and work overtime when necessary.
