This role requires a hands‑on, organised leader who can manage experienced teams independently while identifying opportunities to secure new work and grow existing accounts.

Team Management & Scheduling
  • Receive, record and coordinate incoming work requests, maintenance tickets and call‑outs.
  • Plan and schedule daily and weekly work across four installation and maintenance teams, considering urgency, location, skills and travel requirements.
  • Manage emergency and after‑hours call‑outs and adjust schedules as priorities change.
  • Monitor job progress, turnaround times and workmanship, including regular site visits.
  • Sign off completed jobs and ensure job cards, photographs and supporting documentation are submitted for invoicing.
  • Manage team leave, overtime, performance and disciplinary matters in accordance with company policies and labour legislation.

  • Prepare accurate and competitive quotations covering materials, labour, equipment and profit margins.
  • Obtain supplier pricing and maintain up‑to‑date pricing information for commonly used materials.
  • Follow up on submitted quotations and negotiate scope and pricing with clients.
  • Compare estimated costs against actual job costs and use findings to improve future pricing accuracy.
Business Development & Client Relationships
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with key accounts, identifying opportunities for additional work, new store installations, refurbishments and maintenance contracts.
  • Identify and secure new commercial clients across retail, franchises, automotive dealerships, offices and light industrial environments.
  • Register the business on client and supplier vendor databases and respond to tenders and requests for quotations.
  • Represent the organisation professionally when engaging with clients, landlords, shopfitters and main contractors.

  • Enforce occupational health and safety requirements across all sites, including risk assessments, PPE, lock‑out procedures and site‑specific safety documentation.
  • Address client complaints and callbacks promptly, identifying root causes and implementing corrective action.
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship, safety and service delivery across all teams.
