Job summary

Staff Solutions Recruitment is assisting a client in Addo, Eastern Cape, to appoint a qualified 3-phase electrician. You will perform installations, maintenance and commissioning of electrical systems on diverse sites, reading diagrams and ensuring safety compliance.

The role requires a valid Wiremans Licence and extensive experience. Afrikaans literacy is essential to service the client base; you must be willing to relocate to Addo or travel to various sites, bringing strong teamwork and fault

Qualifications

• Qualified / Trade-Tested 3-Phase Electrician with a valid Wiremans Licence.
• 24 years of experience in electrical installation, maintenance and commissioning.
• Experience in solar or renewable-energy systems is an advantage.
• Read/write Afrikaans; willing to relocate to Addo or travel to sites.
• Strong knowledge of electrical safety regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs in line with standards and company procedures.

Requirements

• Qualified / Trade-Tested 3-Phase Electrician with a valid Wiremans Licence (registered with the Department of Labour).
• 24 years experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and commissioning.
• Experience in solar or renewable-energy systems is an advantage.
• Valid drivers licence and willingness to travel to various sites.
• Strong working knowledge of electrical safety regulations and industry standards.
• Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and time-management abilities.
• Must be able to read and write in Afrikaans (critical due to client base).
• Willingness to relocate to or commute daily to Addo.
