Job summary

Curro Foreshore in Cape Town seeks a CAT Teacher (FET Phase) for a full-time position starting January 2027. • Willing and able to work extended hours and weekends.
• BEd degree and/or PGCE in FET phase education, with an honours degree in education (in the relevant subject/s) advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Teach and coordinate a range of subjects per the Curro curriculum for the FET phase.
• Plan lessons using modern-day tools and processes; set up workbooks and measure academic progress.
• Associate in setting up term plans, differentiate learning materials and manage assessments.
• Plan and manage classroom including roster, design, and parent communication.
• Set up and manage formal and continuous assessments and homework.
• Plan and manage extramural activities and outings.
• Provide one-on-one tutoring support and extra lessons.
