Job summary

The Technology Innovation Agency (TIA) is seeking a skilled professional to lead a strategy-aligned portfolio of technology innovation projects, driving progression through TRLs toward commercialisation. The role focuses on budgeting, governance, and portfolio development to deliver socio-economic impact while aligning with the organisation's mandate.

Responsibilities include coordinating divisional budgets, monitoring performance against budgets, and identifying funding opportunities.

Qualifications

Masters's degree in Life Sciences with emphasis in Human Health.
Business qualification would be an advantage.
3 years experience within an innovation management environment.
3 years innovation management plus 2 years in commercial or portfolio management, with evaluation of funding opportunities.

Responsibilities

Assist head to develop divisional budgets and forecasts.
Monitor budget performance and ensure timely disbursement of funding.
Identify new funding opportunities and raise income from third party investors.
Perform technical due diligence on TIA projects and programmes.
Efficiently manage all aspects of the project life cycle, from sourcing to exit.
Facilitate the commercialisation of TIA projects and investments.
Build a pipeline of investment opportunities for strategic technology areas.
