About the Role

Our client is looking for a seasoned and results-oriented Infrastructure Project Manager to lead diverse projects within the Bloemfontein area. This role demands a strategic thinker with a proven ability to manage large-scale civil infrastructure projects from initiation through to successful closure. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project delivery, including planning, budgeting, resource management, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is a key position for driving critical infrastructure development in the Free State province.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full project lifecycle for civil infrastructure projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, and effectively manage resources to meet project objectives.
• Oversee procurement processes, contract negotiations, and manage relationships with contractors and suppliers.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety, quality, and environmental regulations throughout all project phases.
• Facilitate effective communication among project teams, clients, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing challenges to ensure smooth project delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• A Master's degree or PMP certification is advantageous.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management within the civil engineering or construction industry.
