The ideal candidate will drive regulatory compliance programs, conduct assessments, and ensure alignment with POPIA, GDPR, ISO 27001, and NIST standards while collaborating with legal and IT teams.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Law, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of information security experience with focus on compliance.
• Strong knowledge of data protection laws (POPIA, GDPR).
• Familiarity with ISO 27001 and NIST frameworks.

About the Role

Our client, a well-established organization operating in the service industry in Soweto , Gauteng, is seeking a dedicated Information Security Specialist with a focus on Compliance. This role is critical in ensuring that the organization adheres to all relevant data protection laws, industry standards, and internal security policies. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining compliance programs, conducting assessments, and ensuring that security measures meet regulatory requirements. This is an on-site position, with the is_remote field set to No , requiring your daily presence at the Soweto office. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of compliance frameworks and a keen eye for detail within the Information Security domain.

Key Responsibilities
