Placements24 in Port Elizabeth (Gqeberha) is seeking a proactive Information Security Specialist to join a hybrid team. You will implement and maintain security controls, conduct risk assessments, and respond to security incidents to protect the organization’s information assets.

You will collaborate with IT and business stakeholders on secure system design, develop and update security policies, and provide security awareness training to employees, helping ensure compliance and operational

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, or related field.
• 3–5 years in information security.
• Knowledge of security frameworks and risk management.
• Experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scanners.
• Strong network and system security fundamentals.
