Placements24 in Port Elizabeth is seeking an experienced Information Security Manager to lead our security operations and strategy across the organisation. You will oversee protection of information assets, manage risk, and ensure regulatory compliance in a hybrid work setting.

You will lead a team of security professionals, drive continuous improvement, and report security posture and KPIs to senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Master's degree or relevant professional certifications (CISSP, CISM) are highly preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in information security, with at least 3 years in a management or team lead role.
• Proven experience in developing and executing security strategies and managing security operations.
• Strong understanding of risk management, compliance, and incident response frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage the organization's information security program and strategy.
• Lead and mentor a team of information security analysts and engineers.
• Oversee incident response activities, ensuring timely and effective resolution of security breaches.
