Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Information Security Manager to lead our security program in Polokwane. You will manage a team of security professionals, drive strategy, and protect critical assets against cyber threats in a hybrid on-site/remote setting.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, 6+ years in information security with 2+ in management, and CISSP or CISM preferred. You will oversee incident response, risk management, and security operations while reporting to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• 6+ years in information security with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks, risk management, and controls.
• Experience with security operations, incident response, and threat intelligence.
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management; CISSP or CISM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the information security team to high performance.
• Develop and execute the overall information security strategy.
• Manage security operations including incident response and vulnerabilities.
• Ensure regulatory and industry standard compliance.
