Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and other network security devices.
• Monitor network traffic for security threats and anomalies, and take appropriate action to mitigate risks.
• Develop and enforce network security policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular security audits of network infrastructure to ensure compliance with established standards.
• Perform security assessments of new network deployments and technologies.
• Investigate and resolve security incidents related to network breaches or compromises.
• Collaborate with network administrators and systems engineers to ensure secure network configurations.
• Provide technical guidance and recommendations for improving network security posture.
• Stay current with emerging network security threats and technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Networking, or a related field.
• A minimum of 4 years of hands‑on experience in network security engineering.
• In-depth understanding of TCP/IP networking, routing protocols, and network security principles.
• Experience with various firewall technologies (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA) and VPN technologies.
• Proficiency in configuring and managing IDS/IPS solutions.
