Qualifications

• Experience as Infant Care Specialist, nanny for newborns/infants, or early years educator.
• At least 3 years with infants and toddlers.
• Knowledge of infant and toddler development, including sleep, feeding, and stimulation.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Excellent observational and communication skills.
• Patient, calm and loving demeanor with children.
• Ability to follow a consistent daily schedule.
• Clean background check and verifiable references.
• Familiarity with early learning philosophies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and nurturing care for infants and toddlers.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate sensory play and early stimulation activities.
• Ensure a safe and hygienic environment for the children at all times.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding, including introduction of solids.
• Manage daily routines such as feeding, napping, diapering, and bathing.
• Monitor development and note milestones or concerns.
• Communicate with parents about the child's day, progress, and needs.
• Engage children in activities that promote motor skills, language, and social-emotional growth.
• Maintain a tidy and organized play and living space.
• Ensure safety during indoor and outdoor activities.
