Timken is seeking a commercially driven Sales Engineer to drive growth across the Western and Eastern Cape, with a focus on the industrial sector. Based in or around Cape Town, you will grow customer relationships, hit sales targets, and position Timken’s bearing and power transmission solutions for demanding applications.

This role blends technical knowledge, customer engagement, and business development to make a real market impact in South Africa.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years sales experience in industrial sectors such as bearings, mining, metals, cement, or power generation.
• Fluent business English with Afrikaans a plus.
• Valid SA driver's license and residence within Cape Town area.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed sales targets across regional strategies.
• Develop regional call plans and direct customer growth tactics.
• Develop channel partner network in Western and Eastern Cape.
• Maintain CRM pipeline and log opportunities.
• Provide technical training on Timken products.
