Boardroom Appointments is seeking an Industrial Relations Officer based in Pretoria. The role requires a tertiary HR/IR/LLB qualification with at least 5 years of IR experience, and strong knowledge of MIBCO Main Agreement, LRA, BCEA, SDA, EEA. Automotive/MIBCO experience and union exposure are essential.

You will investigate incidents, oversee disciplinary matters, mediate grievances, and represent the company at CCMA/DRC while ensuring legislative compliance.

Formación

• Tertiary qualification in HR/IR/LLB is required.
• 5+ years' experience in industrial relations.
• In-depth knowledge of MIBCO Main Agreement, LRA, BCEA, SDA, EEA and unions.

Responsabilidades

• Investigate incidents for charge/warning formulations and oversee disciplinary enquiries.
• Draft notices for disciplinary enquiries and assist management in preparation.
• Mediate to resolve employee grievances when required.
• Manage disciplinary actions, retrenchment and litigation.
• Represent the company at CCMA and DRC.
• Build and maintain relationships with Workplace Forum, Shop Stewards and Union Officials.
