Placements24 is seeking an experienced Industrial Machinery Mechanic to join their team in Kimberley, Northern Cape. The role focuses on the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of heavy industrial equipment to keep facilities running safely and efficiently.

You will diagnose faults, interpret drawings and manuals, perform routine preventative tasks, and execute precise disassembly and reassembly of complex machines. A strong hands-on mechanical background and commitment to safety are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Industrial Mechanic or similar role.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics and power transmission.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and manuals.
• Proficient with mechanical tools, diagnostic equipment and welding tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on industrial machinery.
