Job summary

A leading engineering service provider in Cape Town is looking for a Field Service Technician to handle the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial weighing and inspection equipment. Responsibilities include diagnosing technical faults, performing preventative maintenance, and engaging with customers. Candidates should have an Electrical Engineering qualification, experience in industrial equipment, and good fault-finding skills. The role requires travelling to customer sites and physical fitness to lift equipment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience repairing and installing industrial / PC based equipment.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve technical faults on-site and remotely.
• Install, commission, and maintain industrial weighing and inspection equipment.
• Complete service documentation and manage spare parts.

Skills
