Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a diligent Industrial Cleaner to join the Richards Bay operations team. This hands-on role maintains safety, cleanliness, and efficiency of industrial facilities, performing equipment cleaning, waste removal and site upkeep.

The ideal candidate will be physically fit with a strong work ethic, detail-minded and committed to strict safety protocols in a demanding environment. Training and health benefits provided where applicable.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Industrial Cleaner or in a similar manual labor role.
• Knowledge of safe handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and industrial waste.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work in various environmental conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized cleaning of industrial machinery, equipment, and work areas.
• Safely handle and dispose of industrial waste, including hazardous materials where applicable.
• Maintain cleanliness of common areas, restrooms, and offices within the industrial site.
• Operate and maintain various cleaning equipment, such as pressure washers and floor scrubbers.
• Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations and company procedures.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
