Job summary

Placements24 is assisting a major mining and industrial organization in Rustenburg, North West, to hire an Industrial Engineering Specialist. You will optimize the supply chain from procurement to distribution, using data analytics and simulation to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and raise service levels across the network.

You will work with logistics, procurement and production teams both on-site and remotely, applying Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, warehouse design expertise, and ERP

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
Minimum of 6 years of experience in industrial engineering with a focus on supply chain and logistics.
Experience with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and supply chain planning tools.
Strong analytical skills and data modeling/simulation capability.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.

Proven expertise in supply chain analysis, optimization, and design.
Strong analytical skills with experience in data modeling and simulation software.
In-depth knowledge of inventory management techniques, warehousing operations, and transportation logistics.
