Job summary

Faurecia South Africa is seeking a FES & Productivity Graduate to join the 12-month graduate program at Port Elizabeth. You will work under the FES & P Manager, contribute to production efficiency, and learn to implement lean methods and Kanban systems within a dynamic automotive environment.

The role emphasizes data-driven analysis, process improvements, and practical exposure to FES deployment across production lines.

Qualifications

3 year National Diploma or BEng/ Tech/BSc in Industrial Engineering.
Computer literacy at Intermediate level essential.
Sound understanding of Work Study Principles and Work Measurement Tools.
Detail oriented with analytical abilities and a structured, methodological approach.
Dynamic and proactive behaviour.
Age between 18-35.
Never been registered with the Y.E.S Youth Program before.

Responsibilities

Experience in setting up standards and implementing the required performance measures.
Maintain site layouts, operational warehouse layouts to stay current with changes and ensure sound work practices.
Analyse and improve key business processes, work measurement, operational design and layout.
Conduct feasibility studies including data gathering and presenting to management in reports and presentations.
Apply Industrial Engineering principles, lean methods and FES principles.
Increase operating efficiencies and identify potential cost-saving initiatives.
Provide planning and tracking support for implementation.
Support FES Deployment in Production.
Support FES &P in launch and rollout of Kanban pull systems.
