Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a skilled Industrial Engineer with a Quality Focus to join our client’s manufacturing team in Queenstown, South Africa. You will analyze production data, identify quality issues and implement engineering solutions to improve product reliability.

The role requires a Bachelors in Industrial Engineering, at least four years in industrial engineering with quality control exposure, and hands-on SPC/Minitab experience. Knowledge of ISO 9001 and lean principles is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related discipline with strong emphasis on quality management.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in industrial engineering, with exposure to quality control/assurance.
• Proficiency with SPC tools and Minitab for quality analysis.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and lean principles; strong analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with production and QA teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyze production processes to identify root causes of quality defects and inefficiencies.
• Develop and implement quality control procedures and standards with QA.
• Design and implement process improvements to reduce waste, scrap, and rework.
• Utilize SPC tools to monitor product and process quality.
