Placements24 is seeking a results-oriented Industrial Engineer in Vereeniging for a hybrid role. You will drive operational excellence across manufacturing and supply chain, focusing on process optimization, waste reduction, and efficiency improvements using lean and Six Sigma methodologies.

You will collaborate with production, quality, and logistics teams, develop SOPs, and train staff while monitoring KPIs to sustain improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial engineering focusing on manufacturing and operations.
• Proven experience applying lean and Six Sigma principles; Green Belt preferred.
• Proficiency in process analysis, simulation, and data visualization tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a hybrid environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing processes to identify efficiency, cost, and quality improvements.
• Lead lean initiatives (Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Kaizen events).
• Lead Six Sigma projects to reduce defects and improve process capability.
• Design and optimize production layouts and material flow for efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Proficiency in process analysis, simulation, and data visualization tools.
