Job summary

LSV Personnel is seeking a driven Industrial Engineering professional in Johannesburg to assist cross‑functional project planning, tracking milestones, and driving process improvements. You will collect and analyze data, build dashboards, and collaborate with BI teams to optimize performance and efficiency.

The role requires a BSc/BEng in Industrial Engineering (or equivalent) and 3–5 years of relevant experience, with exposure to Lean Six Sigma or data analytics considered a plus.

Qualifications

• Mandatory: BSc/BEng in Industrial Engineering (or equivalent).
• 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Exposure to Lean Six Sigma, Project Management or Data Analytics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing projects across departments.
• Track project milestones, risks, and deliverables to ensure timely completion.
• Support documentation and reporting of project outcomes and lessons learned.
• Participate in Kaizen workshops to identify inefficiencies and propose solutions.
• Map processes and recommend improvements that reduce waste and increase value.
• Assist in monitoring the impact of improvement initiatives and tracking compliance.
• Collect, clean, and analyze business and operational data to generate insights.
• Support development of dashboards, reports, and performance metrics to guide decisions.
• Collaborate with BI and data teams to leverage analytics in process optimization.
• Explore and test innovative approaches and technologies to enhance efficiency.
• Support pilots and PoC projects for new process solutions.
• Contribute ideas to support digital transformation and future growth.
