About the Role

Our client requires a skilled Industrial Engineer with a specialization in Operations and Efficiency to join their team on a contract basis. This role is primarily remote, allowing you to contribute your expertise from anywhere in South Africa, with a focus on improving operational performance within the industrial sector of Nelspruit and surrounding areas. You will be tasked with analyzing current operational workflows, identifying opportunities for efficiency gains, cost reduction, and implementing best practices in production and logistics. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze existing operational processes, including production, warehousing, and logistics, to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial engineering, with a strong focus on operations improvement and efficiency enhancement.
• Demonstrated experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other relevant process improvement methodologies.
• Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with remote teams.
• Experience in project management is highly desirable.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and deliver results in a remote setting.
• Familiarity with supply chain and logistics operations is a plus.
• Must be legally authorized to work in South Africa.
