About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Industrial Engineer with expertise in Lean Manufacturing to join their operations in Benoni, Gauteng . This role is critical for driving the implementation and sustainment of Lean principles across all manufacturing and operational areas. You will lead initiatives focused on eliminating waste, improving workflow, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. This position requires hands‑on engagement with production teams, identifying opportunities for optimization through methodologies like Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Kaizen, and Just-In-Time (JIT) production. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of Lean tools and a proven track record of successfully transforming operational processes. You will be instrumental in enhancing efficiency, reducing costs, and elevating quality standards within the facility.

• Demonstrated expertise in various Lean tools and methodologies (VSM, 5S, Kaizen, Poka-Yoke, JIT).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data‑driven approach.
• Excellent facilitation, training, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and drive change.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is essential.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma principles is a plus.
• Must be able to work effectively on‑site in Benoni.
