Job summary

Placements24 is offering an Apprenticeship Electrician position in Bloemfontein, Free State, designed to train you in the installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems within industrial facilities.

You will work with high-voltage equipment under experienced electricians, develop skills in reading schematics, power distribution, and safety procedures, and progress toward becoming a qualified industrial electrician.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 with strong math and physical science.
• Demonstrated safety mindset and willingness to learn.
• Able to read basic electrical information and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior electricians with installation and maintenance of industrial equipment.
• Learn to read and interpret industrial electrical schematics and diagrams.
• Perform power distribution and wiring tasks under supervision.
• Follow safety regulations, lockout/tagout, and industry standards.
• Operate and maintain hand and power tools used in industrial electrical work.
