Placements24 is seeking diligent and technically inclined individuals to join their team as Electrical Engineering Apprentices in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal. This program offers a solid foundation in industrial electrical systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting, under the guidance of experienced engineers.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist in installation and commissioning of new electrical equipment and systems.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on electrical machinery and control panels.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults and malfunctions under supervision.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Conduct safety checks and ensure compliance with all electrical regulations.
• Assist in the testing and calibration of electrical instruments.
• Learn and apply principles of power distribution and control systems.
• Participate in preventative maintenance programs.
• Support senior engineers in project-related tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
