• Strong understanding of microbiology and disinfection/sterilization principles.
• Excellent knowledge of safety protocols, PPE usage, and regulatory compliance in industrial settings.

• Proficiency in English and good communication skills for reporting in Durban; willing to work flexible hours including nights/weekends.

Prepare and apply approved chemical disinfectants according to strict safety guidelines and manufacturer specifications. Conduct pre- and post-disinfection assessments, including visual inspections and verification of treatment efficacy. Adhere to all company health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures, including the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Maintain accurate logs and records of all disinfection activities performed, including chemicals used, areas treated, and duration of service. Collaborate with plant management and safety officers to ensure minimal disruption to production schedules and maintain a safe working environment. Safely handle, store, and dispose of all chemicals and waste materials in accordance with regulatory requirements. Stay updated on the latest advancements in disinfection technology and industry best practices.

Requirements
