Placements24 is seeking an Industrial Cleaning Specialist for a Centurion-based manufacturing site. The role focuses on deep cleaning, sanitation, and safe handling of industrial chemicals within active production zones.

You will operate specialist cleaning equipment and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in heavy industry cleaning, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work autonomously or in a team.

Qualifications

• Minimum demonstrated experience as an Industrial Cleaning Specialist in a manufacturing setting.
• Solid knowledge of industrial cleaning chemicals, handling and application.
• Experience operating a range of cleaning machinery safely.
• Familiarity with HSE regulations in manufacturing environments.

Responsabilités

• Deep cleaning and sanitation of production lines and equipment.
• Operate and maintain cleaning machinery (pressure washers, vacuums, degreasers).
• Dispose of industrial waste and chemical by-products per regulations.
• Conduct safety checks and report hazards promptly.
• Record cleaning activities, chemical usage and inspections.
• Coordinate with production teams to minimise disruption.
