Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Disability Support Officer in Polokwane to assist individuals with daily living activities, personal care, and community participation. The role focuses on promoting independence and inclusion, while supporting clients to achieve their personal goals.

You will work closely with clients, healthcare professionals, and a supportive team, delivering compassionate care, adhering to person-centered plans, and maintaining respectful, safe environments.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in disability support or a related caregiving role is preferred.
• Understanding of disability types and person-centered support principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to provide compassionate and patient care.
• Willingness to undergo background checks and relevant training.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation.
• Support clients in engaging in community activities, appointments, and social events.
