Job summary

The Management Accountant at Motus corporation will oversee the importer finance operations and lead the finance team to deliver accurate reporting and strong internal controls. You will support strategic decision-making with timely insights and ensure compliance across IFRS and tax requirements.

You will manage month-end/year-end processes, costing of vehicle shipments, cash flow, and working capital, while partnering with other departments to drive efficiency and business performance.

Qualifications

• Analyses large datasets to identify trends and discrepancies.
• Strong accuracy and attention to detail in reports.
• Experience with IFRS, GAAP and tax regulations.
• Ability to write clear reports for different audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily finance team activities with accuracy and timeliness.
• Oversee AP/AR, bank and cashbook, GL; manage month-end/year-end processes.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and budgets/forecasts.
• Oversee costing of vehicle shipments and inventory accruals.
• Monitor cash flow and optimize working capital; manage debtors/creditors.
• Support internal/external audits and maintain internal controls.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather data for reports.
