Placements24 is seeking a Renewable Energy Analyst to join our Paarl team in the Western Cape. You will deliver market intelligence, data analysis, and strategic insights to support renewable energy project development, investment decisions, and policy understanding.

You will conduct market research, build financial models, and prepare client-ready reports while staying abreast of evolving energy trends and technology advancements in the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in energy market analysis, financial modeling, or consulting, preferably in renewables.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel and financial modeling techniques.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth market research and analysis for solar, wind, and other renewable technologies.
• Analyze policy, regulatory, and economic factors impacting the renewable energy sector.
• Develop financial models to assess economic feasibility and investment potential of projects.
• Prepare comprehensive reports, presentations, and briefings for clients and internal stakeholders.
