Job summary

Absa Group in South Africa seeks a FAIS licensed financial adviser to follow the six steps of financial planning and perform a Financial Needs Analysis (FNA) for Investment, Life Insurance and Estate planning.

You will present recommendations under Absa approved products, implement accepted advice, and conduct regular client reviews to ensure ongoing fit and proper status. Strong FAIS knowledge and integrity are essential.

Qualifications

• FAIS licensed adviser with six-step financial planning experience.
• Experience performing Financial Needs Analysis (FNA) and recommending Absa approved products.
• Ability to obtain client consent and complete compliance documents (FICA, PRI, etc).
• Strong relationship building and lead generation skills.
• Maintain Fit and Proper FAIS status and ongoing compliance.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain professional relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities via reciprocal leads and sales meetings.
• Perform FNA using Avalon and present recommendations.
• Prepare and present product quotes, ensuring FAIS compliance.
• Complete and submit all compliance and application forms.
• Review client portfolios annually and maintain ongoing relationships.
• Provide monthly feedback to Regional Manager and seek new business.
• Manage commission earnings and ensure PRI alignment.
• Coach and mentor Adviser Assistants and support staff.
